Potentially selling some things

So I don’t forget, these are the things I was thinking of trying to sell to save up a bit more cash (and/or pay for a cellphone upgrade since I can upgrade on the 25th and want an HTC Rhyme).
  • 5 drawer vertical dresser (probably won’t get more than $15 for this, it’s old and has a bad paint job, will go on Craigslist)
  • Xscape red stretchy dress with ruching, size 6, worn once. I might be able to get up to $100 for this, it was originally $165. I will try eBay for this one. Unless I gain weight again, I don’t think I’ll wear it as it’s too big now.
  • Dr. Marten Air Wair black oxfords, made in China. Fairly good shape, new laces…Up to $30 if I’m lucky, but shipping calculations are tricky for heavy items. I’ll try eBay.
  • MAYBE my Ikea bed that’s been living in the second bedroom/computer room. I’ve only had the bed for about a year, used it for a few months regularly and then barely at all. The mattress has a cover that can get washed (another IKEA buy, can’t remember the model). I think fairly I could get up to $150 for the set, but Ieast $100. It includes the slats required to keep the mattress on the frame (in place of box spring). Of course, if we sell this bed, we have only the couch for guests (not that we’re likely to have any), and I do really like this bed even if we don’t use it often. Also it might be tricky to sell because only someone with a big van or pick-up truck would be able to move it, as the headboard is quite tall and too wide to fit into any standard vehicle.
And that’s not much. First step is clearing out the dresser to see if I can find homes for what’s in/on it right now, then putting it on Craigslist and crossing my fingers. Then I’ll post the dress. I really wish I had more that was in good shape to sell Sad smile

Edit: I guess a good longish short term goal will be to finish paying off that smallest, highest interest rate loan this year before anything else. MASSIVE SIGHS ALL AROUND.
